Job Description

The Consultant will play a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives and operational excellence across LATAM, with a primary focus on Colombia. This position will provide expert guidance, manage key projects, and ensure compliance with regional requirements while driving efficiency and value for the organization. This role demands knowledge of both project management as well as technical aspects of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead and execute projects related to payments, banking and card issuance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on objectives and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Colombia-based initiatives, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and present reports to leadership with actionable insights.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and corporate policies.
  • Support audits and risk assessments as required.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive best practices across LATAM operations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting, project management, or business operations within LATAM markets.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of payments market, especially card issuance. Experience with core banking is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in Colombia and LATAM.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel within Colombia and occasionally across LATAM.
