We are seeking an experienced and detailed-oriented Equity Sales & Trading Ops – Associate. In the Equity Sales and trading Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Professional position at Associate level within the Product Support & Services ISG.

What you'll do in the role:
- Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team.
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements.
- Manage risk by monitoring and remediating daily and monthly exceptions, reconciliations, client onboarding, answer audit inquiries and providing governance and supervision over Control functions
- Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation and future state vision with a focus on timely execution and delivery
- Handle inquiries and escalations related to Client Reporting working with key stakeholders to resolve any issues.
- Provide governance and prepare recurring ad-hoc metric reports used within the team as well as for senior management distribution.
- Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output.
- Maintain procedures and retention of documents used in performing daily responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate records of control results, incidents and audit trails for management and audit review.
- Identify control gaps and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Perform periodic reconciliations, exception monitoring and validation of control evidence.
- Effective collaboration across various key stakeholders to drive efficiency.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to establish clear goals and priorities and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests.
- Prior experience in trade lifecycle (CTM matching, trade confirmation, pre-matching, settlements across fixed income/equity or cross products) and reconciliation.
- Audit experience if any will be an additional advantage
- Exposure to regulatory changes and project management expertise
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values.
- Bachelor's in economics, accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience coupled with familiarity with financial markets and general understanding of the industry.
- Collaborative work style and commitment to getting the job done.
- Ability to build and maintain cooperative relationships across the organization.
