Key Responsibilities 1. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
- Comply with all HSE standards, policies, and regulations.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Promote a culture of interdependence by looking out for coworkers.
- Correct hazards within capability and control; minimize environmental impact through responsible actions.
- Participate in required HSE training and ensure adherence to safety processes.
2. Quality
- Follow all standard work, quality procedures, and process documentation including SPC , poka-yoke , and visual standards.
- Raise quality issues promptly to reduce cost and risk exposure.
- Perform weld quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.
- Ensure compliance with welding specifications, tolerances, and metallurgical requirements.
- Support continuous improvement in welding quality and defect prevention.
3. Delivery & Manufacturing Operations
- Independently operate welding and manufacturing equipment to produce components that meet required characteristics and specifications.
- Lead and coordinate team members with less experience, acting as a formal resource for operational guidance.
- Achieve production goals while meeting cycle times and engineering standards.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, performing routine housekeeping and operator care tasks.
- Identify equipment requiring maintenance and collaborate with skilled trades and support teams to ensure timely repair.
- Adapt quickly to changing work demands and solve problems without clear outcomes.
4. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional support groups.
- Complete training and personal development activities in line with business needs.
- Lead efforts to improve safety, quality, material flow, manufacturing processes, and employee development.
- Contribute to projects related to welding process improvements, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Additional technical training or certification in welding engineering, materials engineering, or mechanical engineering is an advantage.
- May require licensing for compliance with export control or sanctions regulations

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- Significant hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or welding engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of welding processes obtained through specialized training or industry experience.
- Experience in welding quality inspections, equipment operation, and troubleshooting weld defects.
- Strong understanding of production operations, safety procedures, and continuous improvement activities.
Knowledge / Skills Overview
- Expertise in welding engineering , including the science and technology of joining metals and thermoplastics.
- Understanding of weld integrity, structural safety, weld performance, and failure prevention.
- Ability to support welding processes, troubleshoot weld defects, and optimize welding operations.
- Familiarity with standards, materials behavior, heat treatment effects, and welding equipment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes , safety protocols, and quality systems.
