Job Description

About the Role :

Reporting to Head of HR Greater China, SEA, Korea, this incumbent is a member of the regional Greater China HR team.  He or she will provide all-rounded HR services and support for Inveso Taiwan which is a regulated entity locally. This role will also support HR for other locations in Greater China.  As member of the Asia Pacific HR team, he or she will work and engage in HR initiatives including but not limited to Workforce Planning, Employee Relations, Talent & Performance Management, People Development, Compensation & Benefits.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Execute and ensure smooth HR Operations covering payroll, benefit administration, staff insurances, taxation, regulatory reportings, regulatory trainings and compliances, surveys; support HR Operations enquiries via MyConnect.
  • Support and partner GC HRBPs in their delivery of HR services to managers and employees in Tawain and other locations in the GC region; keep abreast of employment and business related regulation development to provide relevant support to the GC HR team and business; update HR policies, manuals, procedures.
  • Support company and HR initiatives / processes e.g. D&I, IWN etc; participation in HR projects (country / regional / global) as and when required.
  • As HR representative and provide necessary information in response to inspections by regulators, internal audit regularly and on-demand basis.
  • Continuous improvement of HR practices and procedures.
  • Maintain Taiwan industry network to ensure timely update on market trends, ensure local vendor relationship and network

Requirement for the Role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a spectrum of Human Resources functions, relevant HR experience in the financial industry an advantage
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience using Workday
  • Prior experience working in global or regional matrix organization is helpful
  • Knowledge of labour ordinances, regulatory requirements applicable to financial services in Taiwan
  • Independent and able to work under a remote management environment
  • Proficiency in Chinese and Mandarin. Fluent in speaking & writing English

  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, able to effectively communicate and working with all levels within a global organization
  • Good problem solving skills, able to exercise good judgment and with common sense
  • Good and positive working attitude. Independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and high spirit of teamwork (i.e. working well on an individual basis as well as part of the team)
  • Eager to work with details such as reporting, analytics, surveys, effectively gather and consolidate data & information as required by regulators and the business.
