Job Description

AbbVie France is recruiting a Senior Data Scientist reporting to the Business Excellence & ACE Transformation Manager, for our Business Excellence team integrated within the Aesthetics and Pharmaceutical division.

By joining our company as a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead and scale predictive modeling and ML solutions, ensuring methodological excellence and compliance to drive business impact and support our transformation.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced predictive models to optimize decision-making and business processes.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Provide methodological leadership, standardizing frameworks and best practices for data science projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and promote knowledge sharing within the analytics community.
  • Ensure robust, scalable data pipelines and ML Ops practices in partnership with data engineers.
  • Guarantee compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate model results and business impact.
  • Stay ahead of market trends to integrate emerging ML/AI methodologies and technologies.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications

Our Business Excellence team is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with at least 6 years of experience in data science, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

Required knowledge, skills, and qualities:

  • Expert in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical methods; proficient in Python and major ML libraries.
  • Solid experience with ML Ops tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable business impact and methodological rigor.
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy, adaptability, and team spirit.
