As a Manager, Record to Report, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across multiple entities. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting strategic business decisions. You’ll have the opportunity to influence process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with senior leadership in a dynamic, global environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and inspire a team of accountants and finance supervisors, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are consistently met.
  • Own the accounting and reporting process for assigned books and complex entities, maintaining compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements that meet corporate and divisional requirements.
  • Review and analyze balance sheet accounts regularly, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to maintain accuracy.
  • Drive process standardization and simplification initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce complexity across accounting operations.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring objectives are achieved, documentation is complete, and follow-up actions are implemented promptly.
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls, segregation of duties, and compliance with SOX 404, anti-corruption laws, and company policies.
  • Develop and mentor team members through goal setting, coaching, and training programs to enhance professional growth and build future leaders.

What You Will Need

Required

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks, including SOX compliance.
  • Shared Service Center experience.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multinational organization or auditing firm
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in an additional European language.
