DESCRIPTION
This entry-level/early career engineering services role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining information technologies, functional excellence processes, and product information change management systems. The role supports engineering practitioners by enabling efficient and effective workflows, with a focus on product configuration, product portfolio management, and Salesforce CPQ operations.
The position requires applying technical knowledge, established standards, and process expertise to deliver high-quality outputs that support engineering functions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply technical information processes, policies, and standardized procedures to fulfill and document work requests.
- Support and execute information processes including Engineering Standard Work (ESW) , Value Package Introduction (VPI) , product change management , and data repository management such as technical information libraries.
- Work with a wide range of technical practitioners to understand requirements, negotiate deliverables, and support the creation of high-quality tools, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Use academic and prior experience to make informed decisions that move projects forward while maintaining quality expectations.
- Own problem resolution for moderately complex components, systems, or services, increasing in responsibility as experience grows.
- Independently execute established work processes and contribute to the improvement of systems, tools, and workflows.
- Coordinate work with technicians or student employees when required (minimal people management).
- Contribute to team goals, collaborate effectively, and continue to develop proficiency in key technical and behavioral competencies.
- Act as an individual contributor focusing on product configuration and product portfolio management within Salesforce CPQ .

Experience
- Entry-level to early career candidates with exposure to information systems, engineering services, or related technical environments.
- Experience through internships, co-ops, or early career roles in a technical discipline is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Computer Science , Information Technology , or an equivalent STEM field.
- A Master’s degree may be required for select roles.
- Entry-level/early career professional experience in engineering services or information systems preferred (internship, co-op, or early career role).
- Proficiency with MS Office tools is preferred.
