Summary :
To lead Operations team who are responsible for the fulfilment of customer orders, logistics, warehouse functions and importation activity, as well as the internal stakeholders. You would need to review and manage initiatives aimed at optimizing, harmonizing and standardizing operations processes. In addition, designing and deploying new capabilities, developing measurement metrics and KPI’s, dashboards and reports.
The role needs to manage and integrate acquired businesses, continually drive business performance and process improvement for the Operations function. Support the Stryker operational service commitments, as well as the organization’s mission and values. Deliver exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers and stakeholders. Contribute towards and support projects that drive continuous improvement, optimization, simplification, efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
What you will do :
Develop and implement the appropriate operations strategy for the teams. This will require the provision of a detailed operational review of all processes, procedures, methods and tools to determine adequacy to meet the performance objectives of the department covering the following main functions: Customer Service, Kit Booking and logistics, Warehouse, Importing activity, Asset management
Manage the Operations Departments ensuring the best talent is sourced, developed, managed and engaged.
Management and control of costs whilst ensuring that operational service standards are continuously met in order to achieve budgets. Analysis of errors and failures of processes in order to optimize them.
Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients, carriers and collaborative relationships with internal departments. Promoting positive work environment and collaborative attitude.
Direct work activities and projects, based on a clear understanding of customers & market needs and lean processes including clear roles and responsibilities, KPI’s and metrics.
Support standardization and alignment of processes within EMEA
Ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and financial metrics are reviewed and achieved, including and not limited to On-Time In Full (OTIF/SL), Days On Hand (DOH).
Monitors and encourages team to ensure high performance and actively works to reward performance and achievement of critical outcomes.
Collaboratively works to set meaningful performance objectives, sets specific development goals, identifies milestones, monitors team performance and provides appropriate feedback to keep the team on track, overcome barriers and resolve conflict.
Actively encourage sharing of talent, knowledge and expertise to achieve the best possible results.
What you need :
Degree graduate in a Business or Logistics discipline(s) or equivalent experience
10 years experience + in operations in similar responsibility and 3+ years of experience in people management role, with a preference of a mix Logistics/warehouse management & customer facing responsibility
Demonstrated success in building, managing, motivating and developing strong operations teams.
Proven expertise in ISO 13485, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and MDD vigilance and notification processes.
Provides clarity on expectations through exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
Background in continuous improvement is a plus
Project Management and/or Finance qualifications an advantage.
Process Lean/Excellence/Six Sigma Tools training and/or certification is a plus

Well versed in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio or other flow charting software and/or Microsoft Project.
Reverse logistics and consignment business (such as Medical Device, Healthcare Markets).
Strong knowledge of IT systems & tools and their implications for business processes (JDE preferred)
