Position Overview
The Account Executive for Autodesk Construction Cloud is a sales professional focused on driving business growth in the construction technology market by representing Autodesk Construction Solutions and selling the ACC portfolio of solutions.
Responsibilities
Own and grow a defined sales territory, developing and executing a strategic territory plan to drive pipeline, revenue, and market penetration
Generate net-new pipeline through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and targeted account outreach
Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through solution positioning, negotiation, and close
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through disciplined execution and deal management
Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue, maintaining strong CRM hygiene and using Salesforce to track activity, opportunities, and deal progress
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers in the construction industry
Deliver product demos and presentations tailored to customer needs and workflows
Work closely with technical teams, marketing, customer success, and partners to support customers through sales and into onboarding
Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and market insights to position ACC solutions effectively
Support customer retention and expansion through collaboration with renewals and success teams
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and education
Proven track record of success in SaaS or technology sales, preferably with experience in the construction or enterprise software market
Proven outbound selling experience, including cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and proactive account penetration to generate net-new pipeline
Strong territory planning and execution skills, with experience building and managing a strategic territory plan that drives consistent pipeline coverage (3–5x quota)
Consultative / solution-based selling background, with the ability to uncover customer pain points, align solutions to business outcomes, and clearly articulate value and ROI
Enthusiastic and dedicated approach to understanding customers’ needs and ensuring they realize the full value of our products and services
Preferred Qualifications
Sales Experience: 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in construction or similar selling environments, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving revenue growth
Comfortable with high-activity sales motions, including daily outbound outreach, follow-ups, discovery calls, demos, and deal progression
Experience expanding existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and multi-product adoption while continuing to prospect for new logos
