DESCRIPTION

Cummins is looking for a Warehouse person to join its distribution business in Edmonton, AB.

In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Use different tools and equipment to accomplish tasks (Forklift etc).

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, certification, license:

• High school diploma is required.
• Forklift certification is an asset.

Experience:

• Physically fit to be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Warehouse experience is considered an asset.

About the role

• Follow all safety policies and procedure wears appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
• This role will require picking orders, putting stock away.
• Position is Monday-Friday from 730am to 4pm.
• Unionized environment.
• Salary is 26.07$ hourly as per current CBA.
