Strategic Business Development Leader – Inorganic Growth Execution

Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare through strategic growth? In this role, you’ll drive high-impact business development initiatives that expand our market presence and accelerate innovation. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, execute inorganic strategies, and influence decisions that define the trajectory of our business.

What You Will Do
  • Lead strategic planning for business development in partnership with business unit leadership.
  • Identify and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities using market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence.
  • Source and manage relationships with potential business development targets to build a robust pipeline.
  • Develop and present deal theses and recommendations to leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build commercial and market models to support decision-making and transaction execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute transactions and support post-close integration.
  • Provide visibility into the business development pipeline and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Lead adjacent segment reviews and deep dives into new market opportunities, making data-driven recommendations.
What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, market development, or market research.
  • Minimum 4 years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Experience in healthcare or medical technology industry.
  • Familiarity with due diligence processes and integration planning.

  • Work arrangement: Hybrid
  • Travel: Up to 25% domestic and international.
