DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Key responsibilities would include the following types of tasks that support the Manufacturing team.
- Assist with equipment/fixture/tool setup & debug, etc.
- Work cross functionally with Maintenance, Safety, Operations, Materials, and Quality groups to support manufacturing projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Basic understanding of Industrial Engineering preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a talented school to work to join our team specializing in Industrial Engineering for Columbus Fuel systems.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Effective Communication: Deliver clear, audience specific communication that improves understanding, alignment, and decision-making across teams.
- Health & Safety Advocacy: Model proactive safety behaviors, identify hazards, and support initiatives that strengthen an injury-free, interdependent safety culture.
- Line Balancing Optimization: Student will be learning Value stream mapping and process flow charts. Analyze work activities to redistribute tasks, improve operating time, and ensure processes adapt efficiently to changing customer demands.
- Work Measurement and cycle time capture: Processes into measurable elements to identify waste, rebalance workloads, and improve overall process flow and productivity. School to work will be doing cycle time studies to update the machine routings for 2026.
