We are currently looking for an Account Manager Trauma to join our team and take ownership of a strategically important territory in the North-East of the Netherlands.
This role offers a strong balance of autonomy, development, and collaboration, supported by a structured onboarding and training program designed to set you up for long-term success.

Your Role
In this role, you will take responsibility for managing and growing relationships with hospitals and clinical stakeholders across your territory. You will work closely with surgeons, operating room staff, hospital administration, and purchasing departments, acting as a trusted partner throughout the customer journey.
You will start with a comprehensive familiarisation and training phase, allowing you to build strong product knowledge and internal networks before fully taking ownership of the territory.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing an extensive onboarding and product training programme to gain in-depth knowledge of the trauma portfolio and internal processes
Developing and implementing sales strategies within your territory, including identifying new customers and managing negotiations with surgeons, hospital management, and procurement teams
Advising and training medical and surgical professionals through product demonstrations and educational sessions
Providing hands-on support in the operating room, where approximately 40% of the role is spent, supporting procedures when required
Managing orders and follow-up activities to ensure timely delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction
Representing Stryker at congresses, seminars, and business meetings to expand both your expertise and customer network
Territory & Working Environment
Territory: North-East Netherlands
This is a field-based role with significant customer interaction and regular travel within the region
You will work closely with experienced colleagues in the territory while being expected to operate with a high degree of independence

Minimum Qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualification (ISCED Level 6 or higher)
Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience, including sales experience
Experience & Skills
Proven sales experience, ideally within medical devices, pharmaceutical, or related industries
Experience working with complex stakeholders and longer sales cycles
Strong communication skills with proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
Valid driver’s licence, as the role involves regular customer visits
Orthopaedics or anatomy knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement
