We are seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to serve as a key leader in our Poland office and a key member of our global engineering leadership team. This role requires a seasoned engineering leader with a track record in SaaS leadership, product development excellence, and the ability to attract and develop top engineering talent at scale.Relativity already has a large Engineering team in our Poland office.
The Senior Director of Engineering will work with other AI leaders across Relativity to grow our AI-focused talent pool in Poland, encourage cross-functional learning and innovation in the Poland office, and own key functions and teams within our AI strategy. Our goal is to accelerate our AI innovation with the additional talent and scale of our Poland office.
While AI and data-driven systems remain an important part of our technology strategy, this role is intentionally broader in scope. The successful candidate will play multiple leadership roles: strategic partner to global product and engineering leadership, talent magnet for senior engineers and managers, and a key leader in Poland.
This role is ideal for senior leaders who have built and scaled engineering organizations within mature SaaS, global product companies, or high-quality product scaleups, particularly those with significant Polish engineering hubs.
Job Description and Requirements
Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for customer-facing and AI-enabled SaaS products and core platform capabilities.
Drive high-quality product development, balancing speed, reliability, security, and scalability.
Partner closely with Product Management to ensure engineering execution aligns with business outcomes and customer value.
Provide executive-level oversight for AI-enabled capabilities, while maintaining a strong foundation in core SaaS engineering practices.
Guide organizational design, scaling plans, and technical investment decisions.
Be a visible, inspiring leader in the Polish engineering community, helping attract senior engineering managers, directors, and principal engineers.
Build a high-performing leadership bench, coaching engineering managers and directors for long-term growth.
Build a culture where teams take ownership, operate with accountability, and continuously improve engineering practices.
Act as a senior engineering leader for Poland, helping shape the long-term vision, operating model, and growth strategy of the site.
Strengthen our presence within the local and regional tech ecosystem through networking, hiring, and employer branding.
15+ years of engineering experience, including significant time in senior engineering leadership roles (Director / Senior Director / VP level).
Proven success leading large, multi-team engineering organizations within SaaS or global product companies.
Strong background in modern product development, including cloud-based platforms, distributed systems, and enterprise-grade software.
Experience scaling organizations through growth, transformation, or increased technical maturity.
Ability to operate comfortably at both strategic and hands-on leadership levels.
Prior experience working with or leading teams in Poland or Central/Eastern Europe is strongly preferred.
AI experience is valued but not as a narrow specialization—we are seeking broad, senior engineering leadership with some relevant AI product leadership experience.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
530 000 and 796 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
