DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Manages personnel in the Manufacturing Engineering Function related to departmental activities and performance standards.
Leads the development of departmental plans and deliverables.
Provides technical consultation, leadership, and advice to managers, manufacturing personnel and other functions.
Coaches and motivates direct and indirect team members, delegates work assignments, and leads change.
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives including capital, daily operations, and organization structure.
Provides technical inputs and direction for Manufacturing.
Leads the communications with all stakeholders.

Equipment/Capital Procurement - Selects manufacturing equipment which meets the Cummins manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs.
Manufacturing Business Model Application - Demonstrates capability in organizing and improving the steps of how workflow should occur by using the current documented Cummins processes and key practices used to drive improvements within the business to show a common framework for manufacturing functional excellence within the company.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory and leadership experience, required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement :-
- B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech-Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering would be an added advantage
- 15; Years experience in Manufacturing Engineering Role
