Inside the Software Engineering Experience @ T. Rowe Price: A Networking Event

William Eason is a Vice President, Senior Software Engineering Manager at T. Rowe Price and has been there for more than 8 years. He has over 20 years of experience working in many different global organizations that span a multitude of technical disciplines. He attained his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lipscomb University and his Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Certified Service Oriented Architect and a Certified Scrum Master. Currently he is responsible for delivering software solutions for the global enterprise marketing organization and supporting multiple business workstreams that increase the connection points with sales representatives and prospective clients through omni-channel pipelines driving increases in revenue with data and analytics. He plays two instruments (piano and cello) and has also published a Sci-Fi novel.

Chandrika Sagar is a Senior Software Engineer on the Investment Compliance Team. I work on software solutions that help our clients by providing for timely and accurate information to work on their compliance needs. I work with a small team of developers and design solutions for user features and requirements. I have successfully completed many projects in the team including Bloomberg integration for application to provide information unavailable through other sources, major refactor to boost application performance. I am a mentor for newer members on my team and have been a part of org wide mentorship program.

Karen Foote is a Vice President at T. Rowe Price Associates and a Product Delivery Manager for the Reliability and Integrations Engineering team. In her current role, she leads and supports a multidisciplinary engineering product team using an agile framework, working with engineers, leadership, and customers to define and execute the product roadmap. In partnership with the engineering manager, she has created an environment for the team to clearly understand the value of the work they are doing and to have clear direction over the requirements for the product. This allows them to deliver against the agreed product roadmap. Karen has more than 20 years of industry experience in infrastructure engineering. She holds several Scrum Alliance certifications including Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master, Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner, Advanced Certified Scrum Developer, and Scrum Foundations Educator. She is the current Maryland Co-chapter lead of VALOR, the firm’s Veterans Business Resource Group. She holds a Bachelor’s of arts degree in Computer Information Systems and will complete her Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and Services in August 2023. She currently serves as an industry mentor for the Center for Women in Technology for the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
