Meet The Speakers

Keri McKiernan
Keri McKiernan
CTO, Corporate Platforms

Keri McKiernan is S&P Global’s CTO of Corporate Platforms where she is responsible for overseeing Commercial, Financial, People, Enterprise Marketing and Enablement Technology Platforms across the enterprise, leading the teams and technical platforms to support the various stakeholder groups.

Keri joined S&P Global through the SNL Financial acquisition in 2015 and has spent time in S&P Global Market Intelligence, DTI (Data, Technology & Innovation), DTS (Digital Technology Services) and now DS (Digital Solutions). Prior to S&P Global, she has worked in financial data services her entire career including spending time at Kagan Research, Jupiter Kagan (Subsidiary of Jupiter Media), and SNL Kagan.

She is an accomplished leader in Cloud Applications and Corporate Technology Space with almost 20 years of experience leading large teams and delivering complex, high-value projects in business applications and Financial Services. She has deep expertise in areas like Salesforce, Analytics, Websites, Marketing Automation, Workday, Order to Cash, Scaled Agile and Project Management.

Keri received her MBA, MS in Project and Program Management from Brandeis University and her BS in Management Information Systems from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. She is a lifelong learner and always working on her next certification. She received her AI Strategy Certification from Cornell University in 2023.

Mary Thorn
Mary Thorn
Vice President - Global Head of APMO

Mary Thorn is the current Vice President and Global Head of APMO at S&P Global Ratings. Her primary responsibility is to align business goals with technology strategy and continuously improving our scaled agile operating model thereby transforming the way we operate.

Before joining Ratings, Mary led the implementation of the scaled agile operating model in Market Intelligence. Additionally, she spearheads the Ratings Digital Council and is a part of the GenAI Strategy group. She works closely with leaders across various functions in Product, Analytical, and Commercial roles.

Ms. Thorn joined S&P in March 2020. Prior to joining S&P, Mary consulted with Commodity Insights and Ratings Division in enabling agile ways of working. Before joining the company, Mary implemented agile transformations at Ipreo (now S&P Global), Channel advisor, and Deutsche Bank.

Mary was a collegiate basketball player and completed her bachelor's degree(BSBA) with a concentration in MIS from East Carolina University.

Katrin Schulz
Katrin Schulz
Director, Technology Governance & Operations

Operational leader with a proven track record in execution of initiatives and implementation of operational frameworks within technology and data organizations. Mentor and coach for teams across multiple disciplines, diverse portfolios in a globally distributed organization. Specialized in providing data driven insights, strategic planning, portfolio management, project delivery, technology governance, change management and culture shaping. These efforts have driven a great degree of operational excellence, transparency, and organizational maturity.

Dedicated to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, serving as VP for WINS Northeast, advising the industry group of Women in Technology North America as well as being a member of Women ́s Bond Club with the mission to advance women in financial services.

Celeste Castello
Celeste Castello
CTO Mobility Auto Insights

Celeste Castello leads Technology for S&P Global Mobility, Auto Insights. Auto Insights enables all aspects of the Automotive Value Chain from Product Planning to Industry Benchmarks and Vehicles in Use. It serves the Automotive Industry, Media & Tech, Financial Services, and other adjacent Manufacturing segments.

Celeste is passionate about aligning the technology organization to best support business needs by creating impact through Innovation, supporting early careers, diversity, and women in tech Initiatives. Under Celeste’s leadership, the team supports a double-digit vitality index, implements technology and process innovation in multiple growth products and completed its Cloud Migration in 2023.

Prior to joining S&P, Celeste held various technology leadership positions for IHS Automotive and R.L. Polk and spent 6 years with Ernst & Young in the field of Technology Consulting, business process re-engineering and organization change management. Celeste attended University in Rio, Brazil at the Pontificia Universidade Catolica of Rio de Janeiro. Prior to moving to the US, Celeste lived in Brazil and the UK.

Celeste now resides in Atlanta with her husband Chris and son Nick.
