Overcoming Workplace Challenges for Multi-Generational Teams
In 2024, Gen Z is expected to overtake Baby Boomers in the full-time workforce, according to a recent analysis by Glassdoor. This means, workplaces now include team members born between 1996 and 1946 - a 50-year difference! Each generation brings their own insights to the workplace but also challenges.
On a multi-generational team, it is more likely that employees from younger generations are more apt and agile with AI/tech usage, while older generations may struggle to keep up. On the other hand, younger team members who are new to the workforce may lack the interpersonal skills of their older counterparts. So, how do you support and empower your diverse team to embrace the workplace of the future while not forgetting the lessons of the past?
PowerToFly is organizing a special leadership forum where we would like to hear from you: How are you overcoming modern workplace challenges from AI adoption to remote work & productivity to honing important communication skills? During this roundtable discussion, you’ll hear from industry thought leaders plus have an opportunity to share what is working (and not working) with your own team.
Some topics we will discuss will include:
- The challenges and benefits of a multi-generational team
- How skill auditing can help you identify growth opportunities
- Introducing learning & development opportunities from AI to communication
This webinar is eligible for SHRM credits.
