Lucía Cantú-Miller is a Software Developer for the Biz Multi Location Value team at Yelp. She first joined Yelp a little over a year ago. Before Yelp, Lucía was a Software Developer at a company that focused on digital transformation solutions. She has also been a Full-Stack Developer on a freelance basis for over 6 years. She is based in Monterrey, Mexico and she received her Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, going to concerts, sewing and building jigsaw puzzles.

Technical Recruiting Manager, Yelp
Ellen is a Technical Recruiting Manager at Yelp. Together with her team, she supports the hiring efforts for Yelp’s Engineering, Product and Business Technology roles in North America. Ellen was born and raised in Belgium, studied and started her career there before making the move to the United States. This August marks Ellen’s 10th year at Yelp during which she grew from a recruiter role to a manager role. If you let her, she can talk for hours about her family, her books, good food and good music. She lives near San Francisco, USA.

Swati Arora is a Senior Technical Sourcer at Yelp. She has been a part of Yelp for four years and supports the hiring of diverse top talent for Engineering, Product, and Biz Tech roles across North America. She brings with her over 15 years of recruiting experience. Prior to joining Yelp, she took a career break to focus on her family. Swati holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and is currently based in Toronto, Canada. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places and spending quality time with her family.

Julio is a Software Engineer currently working on iOS and backend development for the Project Hiring Decision team at Yelp, which helps consumers progress step-by-step to a hiring decision. He was previously a middle and high school ICT teacher before transitioning to software development. Julio is from Mexico City and currently lives in Tijuana.

Product Manager, Yelp

Fernando is a Sr. Product Manager in the Growth team at Yelp. He joined Yelp nearly five years ago as part of the Business Operations and Strategy team. Since then, he transitioned into the Product org covering Growth, specifically Installs and also User Authentication. Prior to joining Yelp, he was in Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank working in the Consumer Retail Group. He was born and raised in Bronx, New York, where he currently resides. Fernando graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics as well as Bachelor of Arts. When he’s not creating new products for the Yelp app, Fernando loves to dance salsa and bachata as well as is starting to pick up running as a hobby!
