They’re defined by their unique culture – one that rewards impact. Teams are encouraged to be bold and solve the problems they care most about.

Meet The Speakers

Miranda Kalinowski
Miranda Kalinowski
Vice President of Global Recruiting

Miranda describes herself as a wife, trainee-mother of two rebellious humans and one delicious golden doodle and the Head of Global Recruiting at Facebook. Hailing from Australia and born to a single mum who was herself a recruiter (before going on to do other things), Miranda describes herself as one of the few recruiters on the planet who planned from an early age to pursue a career in recruiting. Miranda started her career in recruiting agency before joining Accenture to embark on an adventure in recruiting that spanned 17 years and 13 countries throughout APAC and North America. In 2011, Miranda joined PwC in New York to help build their Advisory team and ultimately to lead North America recruiting before getting ‘the call’ from Facebook. Since early 2014, Miranda has lead the global recruiting team at Facebook helping to grow from 6,000 employees to over 60,000 today. The first in her family to go to university, Miranda’s life ethos was shaped by the motivational words her brother shared at her graduation- ‘winners make it happen’.
