Meet The Speakers
Jess Ling is currently the Vice President of Global Commercial Services Marketing Strategy, Engagement and Enablement (Global MSEE), which is responsible for delivering scale and efficiency across GCS Marketing. Global MSEE plays an integral role in “creating once for many” to provide customers with a seamless experience, wherever they are.
Prior to this role, Jess was the head of B2B Marketing at Verizon Media, where she spent over six years. She led a cross-functional B2B marketing organization focused on accelerating growth for Verizon Media’s commercial business. Her team owned end-to-end marketing strategy and execution that focused on building deeper customer connections, improving market perception, and empowering a sales organization with the goal of generating impactful revenue.
Prior to Verizon Media, Jess spent over 10 years gaining deep expertise in B2B sales strategy and enablement, product positioning and packaging, digital and content marketing, and experiential activation across the advertising and media industry — from Fortune 50 companies like Microsoft to digital start-ups.
Jess has an M.A. from New York University in Media, Culture, and Communication and a B.S. in Marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her partner and two children.
