Ami Vora
VP of Product & Design, WhatsApp
Ami Vora is the VP of Product & Design for WhatsApp. Her team's goal is to produce elegantly simple features that serve all of WhatsApp's 2 billion users worldwide.
In her 13 years at Facebook, Ami has led several important company initiatives across consumer, developer and business -- working on Facebook's native mobile apps, Instagram, FB's developer platform, and Groups and Messenger. Most recently she was head of product for Facebook's multi-billion dollar ads business.
Ami has 3 young children and -- coincidentally? -- is also a huge fan of solo travel.
Idit Yaniv
Director, Head of Design, WhatsApp
Idit Yaniv is the Head of Design for WhatsApp, supporting the design team across the different products of WhatsApp.
Before joining WhatsApp, Idit was serving as the Product Design Director at Facebook Israel. Idit designed and managed several products developed in Tel Aviv, including Facebook Lite and Facebook Connectivity.
In addition to Idit’s core role in product design, she has co-founded the Diversity & Inclusion team at Facebook Israel, and today serves as the executive sponsor for Women@WhatsApp community.
