Debaprajna Bhattacharyya
Debaprajna Bhattacharyya
Principal Group Engineering Manager

I am a Group Engineering Manager on the Identity and Network Access Division, leading a team building reliable, secure authentication experiences for our customers. I have been at Microsoft for 13 years and have had the privilege of working across different divisions, a range of products (desktop and app virtualization, business to consumer Identity, and my current role) and getting to work with and learn from absolutely amazing people. I live in Seattle, WA with my husband and 2 young kids. Outside of work, most of my time is spent on keeping our children out of mischief, and keeping my sanity through reading, cooking, running and taking in the beautiful PNW outdoors.

Aashima Narula
Aashima Narula
Partner Group Engineering Manager

Aashima Narula is a Partner Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft. She has been at Microsoft for 5 years and is currently leading the development of identity governance features in Azure Active Directory. Her team is responsible for making sure “end users have access to the right things at the right time and for the right reasons”. She is an industry veteran and joined Microsoft from a startup to be part of the cloud journey and increase her business impact. Most organizations are in a hybrid state as they transition from on-premises IT infrastructure to the cloud, and they need tools that allow them to govern access to both sets of resources. Aashima is also a mother of two teenagers, a girl and a boy. She enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling ,and listening to music in her free time and her 2022 challenge is to be more outdoors and learn a new sport.

Eugene Oh
Eugene Oh
Software Engineer II

Hello! My name is Eugene and I’ve been at Microsoft for about 2.5 years. I grew up in the Seattle area and I graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Social Work and Computer Science. I’m currently working on the Cloud Identity team working on the integration of Azure AD/MSA into Windows. I’ve also been helping with the Shadowship program in the Identity org where we organize job shadowing opportunities for university students. Outside of work, I’m involved with various volunteering efforts that I’ve worked with over the years, including teaching Computer Science at Renton High School via the TEALS program.

Matt Atkins
Matt Atkins
Principal Software Engineer

I started my software engineering career over 20 years ago as a tester. I’ve been at Microsoft for the past 17 years and 12 of that as an FTE. In my time at Microsoft I’ve worked on CRM systems, Datacenter Access tooling, Network Isolation systems, Global Criminal Compliance tooling, Identity Management and others. Currently I am working on Just In Time credentialing systems in a never ending battle against those that would do evil with great power! With my testing background I have a passion for quality, not because I’m a perfectionist, (far from it,) but because I like to make “things” and the best way to get to make the next thing is to make the previous thing not need support. This desire to “make” extends beyond software. I’m active with the Garage community and am a Drones Garage Chapter lead. Outside Microsoft you’ll find me BBQing, building an electric boat, tinkering with embedded devices, woodworking, drone racing, 3d printing… making random things and in general keeping myself busy so my wife isn’t trying to find something for me to do.
