This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in the role of Test Architect. Reporting to the Manager of Product Software Engineering, you will play a significant role in our test strategy across our high-performance web and mobile applications for the UpToDate and Lexicomp product lines. The Test Architect will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our products and technology to provide technical leadership for our quality practices. This will be a highly collaborative role with the product development teams, the business, and our content team. Your work will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver high quality software to clinicians and other users worldwide.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design test strategies to enable test automation engineers to be highly effective and efficient.
- Drive improvements in our current processes and practices, considering the latest test strategies, test frameworks, and tools.
- Partner with our Quality Center of Excellence to enhance our test automation tools to support product development, including integration in the build and deploy pipeline.
- An excellent collaborator who will work closely across numerous cross-functional teams to ensure quality is an integral part of the development cycle from design through post-deployment.
- Support the high performance and stability of our test and production environments.
- Follow and improve best-practices and standards for testing microservices, web applications and mobile applications.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related field.
- 7+ years of testing experience
- 2+ years of test automation experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with various testing technologies, for example: Web Driver, Selenium, Protractor, Browserstack, or other testing frameworks
- Knowledge of test development best practices, patterns, and principles.
- Experience working on distributed teams.
- Experience with OOP programming and JavaScript development, a plus
- Experience with SQL, a plus
- Experience with Azure or other Cloud Provider, a plus
