Clinical National Sales Manager, India
This is an exciting role that will be responsible for achieving the top line for our newly formed Clinical BU in India through new market development, effective and successful sales management and efficient business systems and process management. The incumbent will be capable of building an effective Clinical team as well as manage existing opportunities through high level conversations with senior customer stakeholders.
The primary goals of Clinical India Sales Manager
To create effective strategies to grow and develop the market
To develop and train channel partners to deliver exponential growth in high value segments (forensics)
To build and develop a sales team for when we expand the team
To create customer advocates in senior positions
Lead and collaborate with India’s Clinical Service and Application team members

In order to achieve the above goals, the successful candidate must display the following competencies and attributes:
To manage, develop and lead the India Clinical Business to be a customer centric business unit focused on meeting a high standard of customer satisfaction and to ensure that individual, team, business unit and entire business performance measurement objectives are met.
Create, lead and manage a direct sales force, once additional sales people are hired.
Plan the future needs for the Clinical Business, aligning the needs and requirements for support service to meet the commercial ambitions of the company.
Develop effective relationships in order to establish strong collaborations across all departments (service, support, finance, customer service, etc.) to address key business issues & drive opportunities.
Develop, build an enhance customer satisfaction level with Waters provided products and services through exceeding customer expectations, follow-up, and positive problem resolutions for critical account escalations
To manage and train distributors to drive exponential growth in high growth segments (forensics)
Develop and execute comprehensive and realistic business commercial plans, sales projections, and risk assessments
Knowledge about the competitive offerings and maintaining competitive programs to ensure appropriate and real-time positioning versus competition
Set clear objectives and measures and actively monitor and feedback progress and results.
Prioritize by sensing what will help or hinder accomplish a goal, eliminate road blocks and create focus.
Make quick and sound decisions in ambiguous situations and be sought out by others for advice and solutions.
Provide effective feedback to people and take appropriate actions to optimize team’s performance
Qualifications:Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent, MBA preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
15 years of medical devices/capital equipment sales experience
Experience in working with processes and business systems, enabling sales activities and successful customer management
Proven ability to achieve sales targets
Experience in strategy development, project management and problem solving
Exceptional qualifying and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent
