We are looking for a talented EMEA Credit Controller & PFR Analyst to join our Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT) team in Peterborough (Hybrid).
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
· Responsible for the preparation of analyses and reports for department managers. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts or statistical reporting.
· Prepares analyses and reports for department managers.
· Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
· Supports month end close.
· Prepares and consolidates financial data.
· Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
· Executes special projects as assigned.
To be successful in this role you will need experience with the following:
· Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required
· Supporting month end reporting, forecasting and AOP
· Analysing financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions
· Preparing and presenting financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations
· Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential to work in a fast-paced environment across functional teams to meet shared objectives
· Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
· Being proactive and inquisitive with a desire and ability to be coached and learn new skills
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
· College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
· Qualified Accountant or working towards fully qualified is preferred.
Additional Skills/Experience:
Credit Controller for EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) to include:
· Managing CGT’s customers in the EMEA region, supporting three legal entities (UK, Romania, Belgium and Italy)
· Preparing entity level credit reporting, planning and forecasting.
· Developing an understanding of trade finance and credit management skills to support the business.
· Performing credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts at the entity level in line with Corporate Policy, ensuring minimal risk to the business.
· Preparing metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting for the entity, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports as required.
· Managing the local customers in relation to credit limits and terms and communicates with those customers as required.
· Coordinating effectively with transactional shared services provider (CBS) in terms of Accounts Receivables.
· Ensuring local entity credit activities are in line with Corporate Credit Policies.
· Supporting Trade Financial solutions such as Letters of Credit & Bills of Exchange as required
