We are looking for a talented Electronic Engineering Associate to join our team for our facility in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- The ADSC Lab is looking for someone with an innovating mindset to learn, support and help advance our electronic high speed ECM interface systems and drive improved robustness.
- Support our internal electrification and ICE customers with lab device development, installation and troubleshooting
- Innovate with our Lab’s Windows & Linux based development team on emerging technology
- Learn, innovate, and support our cellular technology implementations
- Identify ways to improve robustness with our lab products
- Support customer with electronics related troubleshooting electronics/test cells/vehicles issues
- Learn, innovate, and support with off the shelf tools
- Support customers with new lab device design, creation, and configuration
- Travel may be necessary, but is typically local
- Provides technical expertise and support for planning, scheduling, and testing on Electronic Systems test equipment and/or vehicles.
- Utilizes advanced skills and technical expertise to perform analyses and data acquisition, provide interpretation of results, and write technical reports.
- Actively mentors and trains other technicians in the use of specialized analytical instruments and equipment and test methods.
- Leads, develops and applies advanced test methods to improve laboratory capabilities on specialized analytical instruments and equipment.
- Ensures interactions with customers, suppliers, engineers and other functions; develops and gives technical presentations.
- Ensures maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions.
- Performs other duties as required.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required with Department of Labor Certification OR Associates degree from an accredited program.
- Department of Labor Certification, OR four year experience/education requirement accomplished through either Bachelors degree in related field, OR associates degree in related field and at least two years of relevant experience in a related field OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR Relevant military education and experience.
- 4 year degree in Electronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Automotive Technology, or similar field strongly preferred.
- 4 years of Engineering related experience strong preferred.
- Strong Computer Skills and analytical ability.
- Ability to learn different software tools.
- Any programming background is a Plus.
- Ability to work 1st Shift: M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Pay starting at $33.50/HR or higher, based on experience level.
