Key Roles and Responsibilities > The Finance Project Manager role focuses on providing project management to support business initiatives, across various finance groups such as legal entity control, regulatory reporting, product and cost control, tax, treasury and other finance teams.> Work closely with the Asia Pacific Chief Financial Officer and senior finance managers to oversee and track the portfolio of finance deliverables for business and firm initiatives. > Interaction with business, technology silos, operations and risk management groups to coordinate front to back testing.> Assist with managing the pipeline of work for finance organization and facilitating prioritization in line with current supply/demand> Support standardization and consistency in projects, financial risk management processes and procedures, and ensure adherence to company tools and applications Required Skills and Experience > University degree with at least +8 years of relevant work experience in a major management consulting firm or within the financial services industry> Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in an investment bank with finance organization knowledge> Working knowledge of financial products, acquired in a risk or business support function> Strong Project Management skills and demonstrated ability to work under pressure > Strong analytic and problem solving / process improvement skills, ability to learn quickly and solve poorly defined problems with attention to detail.> Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to create high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate and tailored to the audience.> Ability to build global networks and leverage them to ensure timely delivery of milestones.> Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities> Overall experience in hands-on project management, specifically in business-related projects essential and supporting finance organization's processes> Solid understanding of the Project Lifecycle (PLC) and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) components.Desirable Skills > Strong knowledge of Asian markets, exchanges, and related financial and regulatory reporting practices in the Asia region. > Experience with large scale initiatives gained from having worked with the capital markets trading industry (derivatives and securities) at a global bank or consultancy firm.
