Reliable: Manage time, to ensure being at work on time and effectively get the job done. What you will do: As a Production Associate I, you will perform various manufacturing duties as required to ensure the team meets all goals and objectives. Types of work include packaging, stoning, straightening, material handling, hand finishing, buffing, laser marking, masking, blasting and inspection of implants and/or instruments.
- Conduct visual inspection, and utilize inspection tools to ensure quality and consistency
- Use standard inspection tools (i.e., calipers, micrometers, height gages and comparator)
- Engage in continuous improvement activities such as exposing problems, collecting data to solve problems, and suggesting improvement ideas
- Perform dimensional lay-out inspection on in-house and vended manufactured product
- Complete Autonomous Maintenance on equipment, including cleaning equipment and workstation
- Use new software platforms (i.e. SharePoint, Oracle, Access)
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures related to GMP/QMS/SOP
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Manufacturing Experience Preferred
- Experience using standard inspection tools (i.e., calipers, micrometers, height gages and comparator) Preferred
