Primary Responsibilities
1. Liaise with business users across locations to understand/ document business requirements, detail the use cases & propose solution options for automation
2. Own deliverables across the automation journey to ensure the automation use cases and scenarios are properly documented & analysed
3. Develop & deliver process automations using RPA tools like UI Path & other automation toolkits available at Morgan Stanley
4. Work with multiple stakeholders for prioritisation and tracking of requirements
5. Design solutions which are flexible to incorporate changes and are scalable
6. Own product roadmaps, create & manage project plans, call out risks & issues proactively, report progress against the plan & track associated project benefits
7. Ability to wear multiple hats including but not limited to Business Analyst, Software Developer, UI Path Developer, Project Manager, Tester & Business User
8. Monitors and measures the effectiveness of the automation (tech solutions) and creates reports on impact of these
9. Support execution of reviews (e.g., planning, documenting, reporting) and continuous monitoring activities (e.g., risk assessments);
10. Contribute to improving the team's validation methodology and execution capabilities
11. Partner with other independent validation teams, e.g., Model Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance (RRQA), to support a unified validation program end-to-end.

Skills Required
1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other business or risk management related area
2. Strong understanding banking regulatory environment, including familiarity with Bank of International Settlements (BIS) principles (e.g., Basel III, BCBS 239, FRTB) and FRB Capital Planning requirements and practices (e.g., CCAR, DFAST) is preferred.
3. Experience with core banking, investment and trading products, and banking regulations (e.g., FRB SR 11-07, SR 12-17, SR 14-08, SR 15-18, PRA SS1/23) is preferred.
4. Knowledge and experience with data analytics and data visualization tools and systems
5. Proficient in Python3 and its package development and data analysis package ecosystem.
6. Proficient in SQL. Experience with RDBMS and other types of database management systems.
7. In-depth knowledge and experience in implementation of RPA Life Cycle
8. Strong understanding of git and the software development lifecycle.
9. Track record of developing Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines.
10. Demonstrated experience in all phases of the RPA life cycle - requirements capture, definition & solution design, architecture design, build, configuration, testing and operational transition.
11. Experience with RPA best practices such as package development, Test Driven Development (TDD), design patterns, and code reviewing.
12. Experience with Linux and the command line. Navigating the file system, background and foreground processes, rc files and environment variables.
13. Demonstrated experience in delivering Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence use cases for Banking/ Finance industry.
14. General knowledge of process improvement frameworks.
15. A commitment to teamwork.
16. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing objectives.
17. Strong technical / programming skills
18. Understanding how model risks impact the business, and business changes impact models.
19. Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts appropriately to different audiences including senior management.
