SUMMARY
The E*TRADE Active Trader Services Team focuses specifically on servicing and supporting the E*TRADE Active Trader segment of our client base. Active clients trade regularly and are generally more sophisticated in terms of trading strategies, margin treatment, and overall breadth of market knowledge.
This position will be responsible for managing a team of Active Trader Services Specialists and supporting the growing base of Active Trader clients. The expectation is to maintain and manage the existing client relationships and provide a focused and dependable resource to this most active client base. Providing timely, accurate, and informative answers is essential and an overall sense of relative urgency is paramount. Managers of the Active Trader Services Team must be able to remain calm, professional and in control in a volatile business environment.
The Manager of E*TRADE Active Trader Services must possess the unique skill-set and traits of an Active Trader Services Specialist and a proven track record of effective leadership and heightened performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the highest levels of service, along with a thorough understanding of the processes and procedural landscape presented to team members and customers alike.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete understanding of E*TRADE policies and procedures, particularly day trading rules and requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proactively demonstrates asset gathering, household retention and acquisition strategies.
- Thorough understanding of the securities industry including equity and option trading.
- Understanding of the competitive landscape as it pertains to Active Trading policies, pricing, and tools available.
- Must have professional experience developing business as well as establishing relationships with actively trading and/or affluent clients.
- Utilize independent decision-making skills to handle and resolve issues. Ability to work independently.
- Must be focused on bottom line performance and constantly looking at ways to improve overall performance, sales, customer satisfaction and entire customer experience.
