About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use):08 The team is responsible for implementing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution for corporate risk group across the board. As an Open Page Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a scrum team of developers & QA Engineers focused on delivering and implementation of Enterprise and Technology risk requirements using IBM Open Pages tool. The role requires Designing, Documenting, testing, and maintenance of features, including collaboration with IBM technology team to ensure timely delivery. Impact - TheThe role provides exposure to the S&P Risk framework, business and functional model. This position closely works with the business team and development team to understand requirements and with the Vendor to test and implement the solution. The applications being worked on are extremely important and highly critical to the business. This position is extremely important to deliver what our customer needs and have faster time to market. Be the part of a dynamic Compliance and Risk department that works on initiatives that will directly contribute to Company’s strategy. The position requires daily interaction with senior leaders throughout S&P Global and touches upon all aspects of Compliance and Risk. As an experienced Open Pages QA engineer, you will have the opportunity to independently work on deliverables of the project end to end and collaborate with Vendors, developers,business analysts and Product owners who are experts in their domain that can help you to build multiple skillsets. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand and analyze Enterprise and Technology risk requirements.
- Perform testing activities, including functional, regression, and integration testing, to ensure the quality of the implemented GRC solution.
- Document test cases, test plans, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues identified during testing, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
- Conduct API testing to ensure the seamless integration of the GRC solution with other systems.
- Participate in scrum meetings and provide regular updates on testing progress and any issues encountered.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into the testing process.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and GRC solutions.
- Ability to work independently - Manages own work with limited supervision. Provides on-the-job training/support to new team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL).
- Knowledge of enterprise and technology risk management concepts.
- Experience with IBM Open Pages tool is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
- Prior experience working in an Enterprise risk group.
- Knowledge of other GRC tools and frameworks.
- Experience with Open Pages testing is a plus.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Knowledge of cloud computing and security.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of financial services industry regulations.
