Account & Supplier Risk Investigator I We are a team of dedicated analysts passionate about protecting our partners, customers, and our business from unauthorized account access and fraudulent behavior. We monitor account and supply partner listing activity to identify high risk behavior and take decisive action to keep our customers secure. This role requires flexibility in adapting your approach as circumstances change. As Fraud never stops, neither do we. We are a global operations team with analysts in both the US, EU, and India providing 24x7 coverage and scheduling flexibility is needed in this role. - Your core function is to support multiple real-time work queues and out of queue monitoring tasks, making independent, and accurate decisions on high risk behaviors across Expedia Group accounts and supply partners
- Consistently maintain or exceed required performance standards related to productivity, quality, and efficiency
- You may execute pre-written SQL and Redshift database queries to retrieve data in order to assist your investigations
- You may participate in initiatives to identify improvements in tools and processes
- Provide feedback on critical issues impacting the team workflow, including bugs, data gaps, and technical problems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the account and supplier risk space
- Respond to and resolve inbound customer and partner escalations
- Suggest changes to policies and procedures which enhance effectiveness of the team
- May be required to support business continuity emergencies, as requested by leadership
- Support other duties as assigned
- Relevant experience in eCommerce risk environments
- Proven capacity for analytical thought
- Experience with SQL/Redshift/Qubole/Splunk is desirable; ability to learn such data mining tools is essential
- Requires superb interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Possess a high degree of self-motivation, and strive for improvement both in yourself and those around you
- Flexibility to adapt and able to handle multiple assignments while working independently
- Love working as a part of a creative, adaptable team within an evolving area of the company
- Attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to prioritize work to meet business needs
