We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Finance Analyst to join the Product & Technology Finance Team. In this role you will work closely with the Technology and peer Finance teams and be a key partner to stakeholders driving the Licenses and Maintenance (L&M) program. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with prior experience in enabling solid business decisions through financial insights, meaningful analysis and reporting as well as business partnering with non-finance stakeholders. You will also maintain and evolve financial business models to help visualize key P&L impacts and support decision making process. This position will report to a Senior Finance Manager L&M Finance. What you'll do:
- Distil complex financial data into impactful commercial insights
- Deliver towards high-quality monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-term forecasting
- Proactively partner and collaborate with business stakeholders to better understand Risks and Opportunities
- Analyze business trends and investigate variances versus expectations
- Develop financial business cases to support investment decisions
- Support frequent ad hoc modelling, analysis, and reporting on licensing spend to enable leadership and business decisions
- Build and maintain the planning models and analytical tools necessary to forecast, measure and optimize spend
- Drive process improvement through effective business partnering across the finance organization
- Become a trusted partner for the business teams you are supporting, help guide decisions that drive financial results
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent related professional experience
- High level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to work with all levels of management
- Results driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small
- Able to lead and influence decisions across various internal functions
- Strong qualitative and quantitative financial skills and strong spreadsheet, data-management, and presentation skills
- Very organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects within tight timelines
- Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences
- Passion for using data to drive better decision-making
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
