Northrop Grumman Strategic Deterrence Systems (SDS) Division Communications is seeking a Principal Graphic Design/Print Specialist to join its team in our Roy, UT office.
Essential Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

Salary Range: $69,600 - $104,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Strategic Deterrence Systems (SDS) Division Communications is seeking a Principal Graphic Design/Print Specialist to join its team in our Roy, UT office.
Essential Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Supporting graphic design team with various jobs
- Ensure compliance and consistency to style guide standards.
- Learning and helping operate large production copiers, scanners, plotters, punching and binding equipment, paper cutter, photo printer, and laminator.
- Selects appropriate paper and other mediums based on reproduction request.
- Package finished jobs and notify customers when job is complete.
- Coordinates shipment of finished jobs when required.
- Ensure high-quality products are produced in a timely manner.
- Performs minor maintenance on machines when necessary.
- Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and organized.
- Extensive knowledge of copy center operations is a requirement.
- Microsoft office and Adobe software with graphic design experience required.
- Good interpersonal skills required with an ability to interact with "customers" in a professional manner via phone, email and in person.
- Ability to follow both written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (i.e. 60 lb. cases of paper).
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary materials.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in a copy center with Bachelor's; 4 years with Master's; 4 additional years may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience working with the military, defense industry or government a plus.
- Experience working in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization.
