DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Salesforce Professional Services - Global Delivery Centre (GDC) focuses on delivering strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and execution of change programs. We are the trusted delivery partner for Salesforce Professional Services that ensures end to end multi-cloud delivery capabilities across all Salesforce technologies and scales with agility for successful customer outcomes! OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE Salesforce is currently seeking multiple Technical Consultants to join our Global Delivery Centre (GDC) team. We're looking for professionals with full-stack software development experience who are eager to learn Salesforce technologies and transition into roles as Technical Consultants. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for our customers. These technologies include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, Amazon Web Services, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies. The solutions we design are built for the long term and will scale with the customer's growth plans seamlessly. In this role, we are looking for someone with proven experience integrating systems via APIs as well as a strong development background. YOUR IMPACT
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, and deliverables, and set and manage expectations.
- Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
- Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation.
- Familiar with source code, version management, and code deployment standards.
- Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role.
- Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues.
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
- Working remotely, while collaborating with global teams for delivery across geographies. We may need you to be flexible with your work hours.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
- Backend development experience using at least one object-oriented programming (OOP) language such as Java, .Net, C++, C#, Python, PHP, Ruby, or Kotlin.
- Experience in front-end development with JavaScript (React).
- Familiarity with integration and web services.
- Elementary Data modeling skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Basic level in version control using tools like Git or Bitbucket.
- Experience with integration and web services testing tools such as SoapUI or Postman.
- Understanding of systems architecture and the ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of key design patterns and best practices for handling large data volumes.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
