Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategic projects, ETL design and architecture, performance tuning activities, etc
- Responsible for supporting the architecture and design of the data warehouse, data marts and BI reports which will support various data initiatives
- Development of ETL code with our current toolset, Informatica, PL/SQL, Snowflake Stored Procedures, Azure Data Factory
- Perform and own data analysis during development and report findings to the team
- Involved in production support activities as needed
- Engage within a scrum team and actively contribute to the team on a daily basis
- Understand and follow our internal change management process
- Be a part of and contribute to ETL code reviews with the goal of ensuring standardization, best practices, consistency, and quality
- Provide ETL design, development and unit testing estimations based on business requirements
- Develop design specifications, unit test plans, and troubleshoot client issues
- Work with a diverse project team with an emphasis on repeatable processes and technical documentation

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) OR 6+ years of data engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with Informatica, PL/SQL, Snowflake Stored Procedures, Azure Data Factory
- 5+ years of experience with ETL and database tuning experience
- 5+ years of experience with Data Warehousing methodology and best practices experience
- 5+ years of experience with Data analysis experience
- 3+ years of experience with Exadata and Snowflake

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
