Role Description
Lighthouse is recruiting senior and executive-level transformation leaders to join our world-class team of creative problem solvers known as Strategic Growth Partners. Strategic Growth Partners are seasoned innovators and change agents. They excel at deeply understanding the needs of decision-makers, influencers, and other stakeholders in driving organizational growth. They leverage this understanding to help shape compelling value propositions, programs, and initiatives to drive tangible benefit for Salesforce and its most valuable customers. SGPs are commercially minded value creators that understand the problems to be solved for organizations, and the humans within them, during the enterprise value creation journey. SGPs have the highly differentiated ability to bring together cross-functional teams to identify opportunity spaces, shape vision, set strategy, and drive execution to achieve tangible value realization.
A Strategic Growth Partner is a trusted customer advocate and leader-through-influence who leverages interdisciplinary strategic thinking, human centered frameworks and models, and narrative development and presentation skills to help teams:
- Align on a clearly defined vision
- Craft and drive strategy
- Execute against tangible milestones
- Inspire those around them to do the same
They lead with trust, expertise, ingenuity, empathy, and collaboration in service of the customer and Salesforce’s shared goals.
In this role, key responsibilities include:
Working with top customers, Salesforce account teams, executive leaders, and other cross functional stakeholders to understand the long-term potential of the customer’s relationship with Salesforce and build compelling enterprise level visions, strategies, and executable roadmaps that drive customer success and account growth
Helping Salesforce customers and account teams achieve their multi-year objectives and metrics
Managing a (small) portfolio of top accounts, partnering with their associated account teams, and load-balancing work and interventions between them
Capturing C-Suite hearts and minds directly, and/or indirectly through a combination of engagements and experiences
Balancing inspiration, clarity, discipline, and accountability to the process of digital transformation and account growth
Inspiring and orchestrating multi-disciplinary teams to do the best work of their careers and have fun doing it
10+ years of strategy, innovation, and/or digital transformation experience in consulting, sales, or agency, and driving proven impact on commercial growth and customer success
Ability to work with a high degree of ambiguity and flexibility to re-frame and solve customer and account challenges
The business acumen required to be a leader in a high growth, customer-obsessed organization - setting and delivering a strategic agenda, growing pipeline and directly influencing revenue
An understanding of enterprise technology including digital applications, SaaS and Cloud - especially the breath of the Salesforce platform and what it can unlock for our customers
Ability to build relationships and influence at the C-Suite level both externally and internally
A deep and fast evolving knowledge of markets, emerging trends, and how the flow of value moves within them, and can deliver these insights to a F100 C-level audience
Ability to design and execute workshops, coaching sessions and customer interactions that exceed participant expectations
Proven track record of building and cultivating high performing teams in a matrixed, multi-disciplinary environment
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, including presentation creation and delivery at the C-Suite level
Skilled using G-Suite, especially Google Slides, and Miro online whiteboard
Track record of applying human-centered design, lean start-up and agile methods to problem solving and strategy
Flexibility to travel occasionally (primarily within the US) and work across multiple time zones
Leadership experience at a leading consulting firm
Experience coaching and leading salespeople, solution engineers, technical architects, business analysts, designers, researchers and strategists
Demonstrated love for technology and keeping up with rapid advances
Experience creating and publishing thought leadership, delivering keynotes and participating in panel discussions at customer events
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and inspire high performing teams; enabling team members to reach their full potential and career aspirations while significantly contributing to company success
MBA or equivalent
San Francisco, New York, or Chicago preferred. Open to all AMER locations and remote
