The Salesforce Web Platform Services team is responsible for the innovation of the Salesforce digital experience globally, leveraging best-in-class technology and systems—including Salesforce’s platform. This role:
The Senior Product Manager will lead the team responsible for Digital App Chassis - a B2C scale runtime platform that hosts experience artifacts such as MFEs (Micro frontends), Bundled Experience Packages, and Single Page Applications (SPAs). They will work closely with their fellow product managers, Architect and engineering leaders within the Web Platforms team, and will be responsible for the vision, strategy and execution for the product and the roadmap.
This is a critical role as we build a platform that unites our various websites, platforms, products into a single platform with a unified experience . The successful candidate will have a track record of shaping business strategy for technical products or services, and an understanding of reliability, scalability and performance of production services. The successful candidate will have expertise in the Digital landscape and a proven ability to deliver platform capabilities. In your career, you will have had a consistent record of technical delivery, driving roadmaps for technical product.
Role Scope:
This person will drive the strategy, roadmap and scrum-team operations ensuring this shared service team provides quality delivery in support of various products including:
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage the backlog including user stories and requirements documentation for the scrum team
Partner with teams across Web Platforms on the requirements, adoption, and use of the product
Provide regular updates to leadership, advancing items when needed but with presence and relationships to identify and resolve most issues independently
Craft a coherent product goal, multi-quarter strategy and prioritized roadmap.
Foster, facilitate, and furnish, timely decision-making across a broad network of collaborators, delivery partners, and operational teams.
Create high-quality documents (narratives & PR FAQs) to articulate your vision and report on initiatives to senior leadership.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, and then work daily with teams to make them a reality
The position is based in Hyderabad and requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate meetings with North American stakeholders and partners
Required Skills/ Experience:
10+ years of professional experience, with 4+ years of technical product management experience especially in curating technical platforms and products.
Proven ability to set a vision, excite, and lead cross-functional engineering and partner teams.
Good understanding of Web application development practices and related tech stack
Ability to manage competing and evolving priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively with business as well as technical audiences. Able to write clear and concise documentation, excellent written and spoken communication skills
Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum for software development.

Prior experience as a software developer
