This position is located in San Diego, CA.This is an exciting position working with the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Medical (ESHM) team based out of San Diego, California. The team consists of 3 EHS engineers, 1 EHS Manager, 1 nurse (medical) and you! The team supports ESHM activities at the San Diego site as well as various remote sites. Travel is not required but you will be encouraged to visit the Moss Point, Mississippi, and Grand Sky, North Dakota, sites at some point to better understand their unique support requirements. Your primary functions will include:1) Lead the ergonomics program for the various sites. a. Develop communications to increase awareness of ergonomic assessments for onsite office areas and teleworkers.b. Design ergonomic surveys and training materials to triage high risk employees and improve overall ergonomic educationc. Assess new and emerging ergonomic equipmentd. Assess ergonomic policies as they relate to OSHA and Northrop Grumman requirementse. Work with vendors and Northrop Grumman Facilities to assess cost effective ergonomic solutionsf. Conduct ergonomic assessments onsite or remotely and provide recommendations through ergonomic reports. g. Report trends in support of ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Management System) goals and objectives. Recommend courses of actions to improve performanceh. Design tracking tools to identify trends and ensure effectiveness of the program2) Ability to design automation and website design utilizing SharePoint softwarea. Work with ESHM Managers, Homeroom leads, and other groups as needed to design websitesb. Assess website layout and functionality to improve customer experience3) Lead engagement activitiesa. As part of the employee engagement activities, lead a committee to develop and administer engagement activities across multiple sites utilizing Zoom or MicroSoft Teams video conferencing toolsb. Assess effectiveness of the program and identify innovative ways to continually improve the programBasic Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:• Bachelors degree with 5+ years of administrative experience in an EHS environment, years of direct administrative EHS experience may be considered in lieu of degree.• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)• Experience with SharePoint automation and web design (or equivalent)• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)• Self-motivated and assertive• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team • Ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearancePreferred Qualifications:• Experience with iBuy supply ordering software• Experience with office and industrial ergonomic principals • Working knowledge of SharePoint automation and webpage design• Knowledge of AED maintenance, CPR, and First Aid• Experience with MS Publisher and Adobe AcrobatSalary Range: $72,100 - $108,100The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
