As an Assembler, you will perform the fabrication, processing, lay-up, assembling, mating, and bonding of complex honeycomb, adhesive bonded, thermoplastics, and/or composite sub-assemblies/assemblies & surface treatment and cleaning of metal by various chemical processes. Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM – Standard Monday – Friday, Weekend Hours are Over-time. What YOU will do: Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble, fabricate, and install honeycomb, adhesive bonded, and composite assemblies following blueprints and engineering orders.
- Layup composite materials, apply parting agents, perform bagging and vacuum blanketing, and prepare components for cleaning, masking, and coating.
- Operate drying ovens, mix sealants and adhesives, to create aircraft components. Manage material storages and replenish empty spaces.
- Utilize specialized machine attachments, overhead cranes, and computer-based data systems.
- Ensure accurate documentation, possibly participate in voluntary Kaizen events, and maintain good shop practices.
- HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of manufacturing experience is required.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

- Apply a thorough knowledge of aircraft assembly, adhesive bonding and composite assembly practices, specifications and procedures, and chemical processing practices and procedures.
- Read, interpret, and obtain information from blueprints, planning sheets, standard work sheets, sketches, loft boards, ECA's, MRB dispositions, specifications, and other authorized documents.
- Set-up and operate different types of painting equipment, sealing equipment, identifying equipment, resistance welding machines.
- Apply thorough knowledge of production control, material control, tool control, routing and parts handling methods and procedures.
- Apply a thorough knowledge of shipping, receiving, preserving, packing crating, storing packaging, issuing of materials, parts, and tools, etc.
