Overview of the Role:
The Territory Operation team is looking for a Territory Innovation Analyst to join a high pace, high impact team charged to develop and scale our fastest growing automations as well as to deliver innovative technology and business solutions for our Operations and Sales Strategy teams. In this role, you will be focused on data analysis and dashboard building to deliver value to the Territory Operation Team.
The Territory Innovation Analyst position in the Territory Operation team is a unique mixture of technical and cross-functional GTM strategy expertise. The ideal candidate would be just as excited about defining global strategy and operational standards as they are about developing analytical applications.
A successful applicant must act independently and own the implementation and impacts of assigned projects, and demonstrate the ability to be successful in a team-oriented environment, working with IT & Strategy. They must also be technical, with a strong ability to prescribe the correct technology and insights to meet the demands of the global business.
To succeed in this role you will have to be able to act as a translator between the business and technology, being able to lead in either area. A typical day will involve a blend of technical and business demands. The ideal candidate should be just as comfortable explaining their team’s work to Sale Strategy as they are discussing architecture & debugging nuances with their engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Becoming a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in Territory Routing and understand the downstream impacts in term of coverage, compensation and quota
- Provide support to our Shared Service Team during the course of the year, offering assistance on complex tickets, building SQL queries and data analysis as well as being an SME on territory principles
- Support our effort to automate complex business solutions into simple and scalable process. Find new and innovative ways (using Salesforce products or external) to improve our operational efficiency
- Continually assess and improve business processes, within our Territory Operations scope, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of how we and our Shared Service Team operate
- Work closely with our extended Territory Operation team to drive innovation and harness data and insights. This includes gathering business and technical requirements and presenting them in business requirement documents
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to understand, influence, and support non-technical stakeholders while translating their feedback into engineering requirements
- ~2 years of working experience in a corporate strategy, management consulting, or equivalent role
- 1+ years of experience with SQL/Python
- 1+ years of experience with Tableau/BI tools
- Demonstrated history of producing impactful technology for complex businesses
- Expert proficiency working with large, complex relational databases
- Ability to proactively shift technical focus when business needs change
- Demonstrate operational excellence and strong can-do attitude
- Degree or equivalent proven experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology a plus
- Experience with saql or similar data programming language a plus
- Tableau or Salesforce Admin / Developer Certifications a plus
- Experience with Snowflake, Apache Spark, and Mulesoft a plus

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $87,200 to $119,900.
