If so, then please read on.We are looking for a thoughtful, hard-working, and experienced Product Marketing Manager for our Communications Industry marketing team!This industry marketer will drive awareness of how the power of the Salesforce helps our customers be successful, transform their business, and reimagine their industry. Working closely with the Product GMs, Product Managers, and our Sales organization, you will help shape the comprehensive industry cloud awareness plan by providing the north star on Communications Cloud positioning, messaging, narrative, and compelling supporting content. This PMM will bring a unique blend of marketing expertise, strong industry and solution savvy, and a drive for getting things done!Your Responsibilities will Include:
- Crafting and delivering a compelling industry-level narrative for our Communications Cloud business that drives awareness, adoptions, and inspires the market
- Working collaboratively and interacting cross-functionally with the a cross-functional team of marketers and product builders on cohesive go-to-market plan
- Executing core product marketing needs for our Communications specific Industry Cloud products - including pricing, packaging, release notes, data, messaging, narrative and launch planning
- Crafting a positioning strategy and broader narrative which articulates the vision for Communications Cloud
- Support industry product launch plans as a Communications Industry expert to ensure effective and ongoing relevancy in the market to drive demand generation and sales pipeline
- Partner with an outstanding product management team to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages
- Drive the creation of engaging product demonstrations that are used on stage in keynotes, in videos and are the basis for customer engagements in the sales process
- Develop effective sales training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
- Engage with other marketing specialist teams to execute innovative marketing campaigns, thought leadership, content marketing, webinars, SEO, and web design to build pipeline
- Partnering closely with our Strategic Events team to bring content and demos to life
- Being the Communications Cloud expert — collaborating with the industry's most respected industry sales team to develop plays and sales programs that help drive pipeline, find new buyers, and cross-sell into existing accounts
- Working closely with the industry experts and Analyst and Press Relations teams to ensure effective thought leadership and ongoing relevance in a competitive market
- Driving a robust communications plan to ensure stakeholders inside and outside of marketing are aligned and energized by your programs
- Team-oriented, innovative, and experienced product marketing individual
- Technical DNA, ability to inspire, have fun, and contribute to a diverse industry product marketing team
- Equivalent of 5+ years of product marketing or closely related experience (SaaS experience a plus)
- 3+ years experience in the Communications Service Provider industry
- Demonstrated experience in synthesizing and translating market needs into product requirements, ability to manifest the product vision/direction in via compelling positioning and messaging
- Experience globally launching new products and growing to a mature business
- Experience in setting an effective marketing strategy, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in executive internal and external discussions
- Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally, and build positive relationship with internal partners
- Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle and Salesforce CRM applications
- Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making as well as expertise setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics
- Ability to craft compelling positioning and thought leadership content
- Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executives and at different levels of management
- Outstanding team player with the ability to lead through influence
