The Recruiting Communications team has an opening for a dedicated writer who can build thoughtful, original, and effective communications. The Sr. Specialist, Candidate Communications is responsible for developing the global communications strategy for candidate experience as well as supporting overall Recruiting messaging. The Sr. Specialist will partner closely with Recruiting partners to deliver a communications strategy that engages both passive and active candidates to take the next step in their career and helps craft a best-in-class candidate experience. Success in this role will be determined by the ease and frequency in which candidates navigate the interview process. This individual will drive communications ensuring they advise, educate, and support candidates in their Salesforce journey. This role reports to the Director, ES Strategic Initiatives and Recruiting CommunicationsThis individual should have outstanding interpersonal skills, writing skills, and project management skills with the ability to work comfortably with leadership. Aside from being a champion of the candidate and hiring manager experience, the role will capture information like a journalist, partner cross-functionally to leverage available resources, simplify sophisticated processes, and deliver messaging in multiple formats. You are a self-starter, a passionate learner who’s both solutions oriented and analytical. Primary Responsibilities:
- Write for a global audience of candidates across difference functions (Sales, Tech, etc.)
- Proactively collect data and information from multiple business partners to guide the communications strategy and narrative of candidate and employee communications.
- Deliver impactful communications (emails, Slack messages, blogs, presentations) with clear CTAs, streamlined visuals, and relevant resources.
- Understand the candidate journey and how it advises content strategy.
- Ensure consistent implementation of our brand and style guidelines.
- Participate in internal and external meetings: briefings, status, brainstorming sessions, and presentations.
- Lead multiple projects for various clients, and work with project management to meet deadlines.
- Provide a point of view and express it well.
- Maintain strong, proactive relationships with members of the Global Recruiting team in order to align on communications messaging.
- Standup global, repeatable processes and tools to support communications for key recruiting programs.
- Understand and demonstrate the fundamental principles of graphic design (brand, layout, typography, illustration) as it applies to email and presentation design.
- Experience with corporate marketing and branding, and a clear understanding of marketing strategies and concepts.
- 3+ years of writing experience, including web and email copy and long-form/journalistic copy.
- Experience building global communication plans to support business priorities.
- Established portfolio that displays client relationships and compelling and effective writing.
- Strong presentation skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret creative direction and a willingness to learn.
- Strong proofing/copy editing skills are desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Experience with Slack, email platforms, analytics, and/or the Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platforms are a plus.
