We seek a visionary Data Architect Lead to join our team and champion the future of Customer 360 powered by Data Cloud, the fastest growing solution at Salesforce and one of the most strategic areas of company investment. The Data Architect Lead is a senior role sitting in the Solution Engineering organization that requires frequent interaction with C-level IT executives and other key decision-makers, driving change and innovation. As the go-to expert and technical advisor for data architecture, your mission is to accelerate the adoption of Salesforce Data Cloud and other relevant data solutions at Salesforce . You'll enlighten customers about the value of data across CRM and AI, guiding them from strategy to execution, and ultimately fueling both their success and Salesforce's business growth. Responsibilities:
- Engage from mid management to C-level in order to assess customers maturity around Data and build transformational roadmaps that drive value
- Partner with Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success and other teams to assess customer requirements, identify use cases where Salesforce Data Cloud can revolutionize customer interactions and improve efficiency, craft solutions tailored to their unique needs
- Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/CDO/EA and earn the trust of CISO/CSO/Chief Risk Officer and similar and their teams as they look to adopt Salesforce data solutions.
- Determine which Salesforce and third party technologies to leverage in customer driven architectures, based upon product knowledge, industry experience and industry standard frameworks
- Present at public events, showcasing Data Cloud transformative power for CRM from single-account sessions to major strategic events like Dreamforce to specific industry events to maximize brand awareness evangelizing customers and prospects on Salesforce unique vision on CRM+Data+AI+Trust
- Develop innovative reference models and approaches for integrating data-based products into CRM processes, unlocking new possibilities for data-driven insights and personalized experiences
- Partner with customer security and privacy teams to build trust around data utilization, consumption, privacy and security
- Create impactful, reusable assets for the Sales and Solutions organization, aligned with key industries and CRM-focused business processes.
- Be the primary contact point for product management and marketing for everything around data, representing the local market needs and advocating for your team's success in delivering AI-powered CRM solutions.
- 10+ years of experience acting as thought leader within the data warehousing, data analytics and/or data science space
- Deep experience with enterprise architecture advisory and implementation to value realization
- Strong understanding of big data platforms like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, Google Big Query, MS Fabric
- Understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA), and industry compliance standards
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies such as ETL processes, data integration, data cleansing, and data transformation.
- Experience selling enterprise SaaS software: effective presentation skills to both internal and external technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
- Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of languages like SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
- Experience working with data for AI applications and AI model design
- A track record of public speaking and thought leadership in Italy, specifically around Data
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce products, platforms, and ecosystems, including Einstein, MuleSoft, Tableau, and Slack, specifically within the context of CRM.
