The Supervisor is responsible for clinical operations and medical management activities across the continuum of care. This includes case management, coordination of care and medical management consulting, health education, coaching and treatment decision support. You will coordinate and oversee a team comprised of 13-15 RNs, LPNs and non-clinical roles and will be accountable for their daily activities.
If you are located in EST time zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set priorities for the team
- Coordinate work activities with other supervisors and/or managers
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
- Influences or provides input for forecasting and planning activities
- Provide on-going training and education
- Conduct call monitoring and case auditing of staff and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary
- Independently serve as the clinical liaison with hospital, clinical and administrative staff for discharge planning and/or next site of care needs
- Ensure adherence to relevant state and federal guidelines
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement in all aspects of member care

Required Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted nursing license in state of residence
- CCM certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- 3+ years of managed care experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience (manager, supervisor, team lead, SME)
- CURO experience
- Expert knowledge of case management principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- RN licensure

Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
