This person will be responsible for leading a team for Supply Chain Budgets, Facility Budgets, NPI, Capital, Productivity and Product Cost metrics. You will strategize, forecast, and improve processes while mitigating financial risks and helping to meet annual and long-term strategic plans. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication, organization, initiative, and problem-solving skills. This role will be performed REMOTE from any Collins Aerospace location either domestic or remote. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach individual contributors supporting critical finance deliverables.
- Collaborate with teams to support monthly LE forecasts, AOP and LRP.
- Provide detailed analysis of variances and summary of changes to support presentations to executive leadership.
- Prepare management level assessments of product performance to review strategic direction and cost profile.
- Supports internal and external audit requests.
- Continuously look for ways to improve current processes and support continuous improvement activities across the organization.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes growth and development.
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- Leadership (direct or indirect) experience. Proven ability to influence, lead, and work cross-functionally to achieve results.
- Effective communication skills to include ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines while managing the workload of a team of analysts.
- Strong experience in project management, with proven ability to independently lead complex efforts and drive results on accelerated timeframes.
- Experience with forecasting techniques.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
