Job Purpose
The Chemical Lab Intern will be responsible for performing routine laboratory analysis as supervised and assigned by the Chemist. Duties will include routine testing of production samples and incoming materials, making reagents necessary for production, and data entry. The intern must be able to follow all safety requirements and work in a manner appropriate to a chemistry laboratory environment.

Must keep a safety-first attitude at all times. Must be able to follow written procedures. Will be supervised but must possess self-discipline to complete assigned tasks in a safe, accurate and timely manner.

Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Math and/or Science courses beyond high school level preferred.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: none
Other Skills and Abilities: Must be meticulous. Must be able to work both with colleagues.

This position involves office and factory exposure including occasional exposure to elevated levels of background noise.
