In this leadership role, you will help make UnitedHealth Group’s (UHG) consumer obsessed vision come to life by driving transformation of our Enterprise Marketing & Consumer Engagement capabilities. This leader will drive UHG enterprise marketing technology capabilities and select Optum Rx line of business capabilities including quality, contact center and outbound communications technologies. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the enterprise MarTech strategy & architecture
- Lead a global team of 600+ (FTE & vendor partner) focused on enterprise marketing and select Optum Rx line of business capabilities including quality, contact center and outbound communications technologies
- Manage capital investments of $75M+ & delivering on $975M+ of enterprise benefits in the next 5-years
- Execute on the MarTech strategy with Optum Marketing CMOs and their teams
- Support UnitedHealthcare execution of the MarTech strategy in partnership with UHCT
- Own the Adobe tech stack, data and infrastructure (i.e. stability, scalability) for the enterprise
- Responsible for Adobe AEM and AEM development team supporting the enterprise
- Creation of enterprise MarTech standards, best-practices and CoE
- Partner with Marketing teams to identify new value-added use cases
- Own Optum Rx contact center technologies to enable a seamless consumer experience/journey
- Drive Optum Rx end-to-end consumer and client experience quality processes
- Demonstrated success leveraging technology to meet business objectives
- Entrepreneurial orientation adept at solving unique and complex problems using technology
- 10+ years of consumer marketing technology implementation experience with a deep understanding of B2C marketing
- Proven success as a data-centric, business-minded, highly strategic product (or line of business) marketing or marketing technology executive
- Demonstrated track record of leading teams in the development of fully integrated, omni-channel business-building technology and product strategies
- Disciplined project management and leadership skills that balance multiple projects with varying priority, ensuring project stakeholder accountability, collaboration and execution of work
- Experience leading a global team of 250+ people
- Track record of success leading, managing and developing staff in ways that strengthen team effectiveness and efficiency
- Proven ability to lead in a changing and ambiguous environment
- Proven strategic partner with a distinctive point of view and willingness to push back
- Prior experience presenting & communicating with executive audiences
- Experience leading through influence in a large, matrixed, global environment
- Outstanding collaboration, influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills
- History of selling ideas to others outside of your direct team members
- Demonstrated ability to make information actionable; react to market trends, opportunities, and threats; and leverage data to drive thinking/strategies
