Come join a company that continues to blaze new trails in enterprise software every day, while focusing on our mission of improving the state of the world.TEAMThis is a unique opportunity to join the Business Consulting practice as a Business Value Services (BVS) Consultant focused on the Retail and Consumer Goods industries, representing a blend of frontline commercial execution and long-term strategic thinking.Salesforce Digital Business Value Services (BVS) is closely aligned with the North America Sales organization, directly supporting sales pursuits within our top Retail & Consumer Goods accounts. Your primary focus will be to directly engage with customer executive teams, helping articulate the strategic and financial impact that our Digital Solutions (Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Loyalty Management and Data Cloud) can deliver to their organizations. Ultimately, you will help develop C-level account strategies, value propositions and success metrics, investment justifications, deal structures and commercial proposals for our most strategic customers. You will also act as a trusted advisor to your regional sales team, helping prioritize sales pursuits, identify new opportunities, and provide guidance on account and negotiation strategies.We are looking for highly passionate, driven and inquisitive individuals who can effectively communicate how our Digital solutions can help our Retail & Consumer Goods customers transform their businesses, and support their strategic objectives.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Partner with your business value services peers, business consultants and sales teams to support Retail & Consumer Goods accounts across all steps in the customer lifecycle, from strategic alignment, project justification, and commercial proposals to value measurement and realization of targeted business outcomes, by helping:
- Facilitate internal and external workshops to discover customers' current and future business capabilities with the goal of identifying, prioritizing and measuring key business value drivers (metrics)
- Build compelling business case presentations and ROI (Return on Investment) analyses aimed at accelerating, justifying, and/or expanding sales opportunities
- Create commercial proposals and deal structures, and share insights with sales management to help develop and execute negotiation strategies
- Conduct industry and company research to help develop a point of view of how Salesforce’s Digital Solutions can help customers achieve their strategic objectives
- Assist in developing enablement content, including ROI (Return on Investment) models and value propositions for new solutions
- 10+ years of professional experience, ideally in consultative and strategic roles
- Expertise in the field of Marketing, Marketing Analytics and/or Financial Analysis
- Prior experience working in the Retail or Consumer Goods industries a plus, but not a must
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with experience in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-player, thriving in working collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Experience in creating executive level presentations that capture key findings and takeaways in a succinct, impactful manner, preferred
- BA/BS in business, finance, economics, math, engineering, marketing, or related areas
- MBA is a plus, not a must
